Leads and Connectors

It seems that SilverStone Technology feel that 40cm is the right length for power supply leads, and I have to say I agree with them. The nicely braided ATX lead fitted tidily in every case I tried it out in. My only gripe about the leads is the number of large Molex connectors. 4 just isn't enough! I do appreciate that if you don't need extra leads, they are a pain to tuck away, as I found out with the extra ATX connectors when testing the unit. Why don't all the leads plug into connectors on the PSU box so you can only use the ones you need? I am very surprised that not one PSU manufacturer has done this yet.

The Serial ATA connector is worthy of note. It holds 3.3 volt, 5 volt, and 12 volt lines, along with 2 ground wires. These are split into no less than 15 little contacts on the side that plugs into the SATA hard drive. Why? I am afraid I don't have a clue.
