The front of the case actually opens out to reveal the blanking plates beneath. We have four 5 1/4" drive bays and two 3 1/2". The blanking plates unscrew from the front.

Internally, we have another five 3 1/2" bays for hard drives. In front of these, fits space for a 120mm fan (hence the mesh at the bottom-front of the case). This will not only bring cool air in, but keep any hot hard drives you have nice and cool. If you take a look at the drive cages in the picture, you'll see how the hard drive bay slots out for easily fitting hard drives.

At the rear of the case, there is space for another 120mm fan. These aren't included unfortunately, but if Lan Pirates have their heads screwed on, they will have fitted these for the full blown machines. 120mm fans running at 7 or 5 Volts are almost silent, while still pushing a fair amount of air.

At the very top of the case, there is an 80mm fan fitted. This is taking advantage of the principle that hot air rises, and exhausting it out the top. However, this alone is not enough to keep even a modest machine cooled.

Anyone else with a keen eye, will have noticed that the motherboard tray is removable. This is done with 4 thumb screws. In fact, almost the entire case is screwless. The drives are fitted with a quick release system, that takes very little time at all.
