Untitled Document "Intel Confidential"

Those were the words that greeted me on opening a large brown box that I had to collect from DHL in Croydon. It's not every day that I get the chance to look at pre-release products from Intel, so understandably I was quite excited to look at this one. The box contained Intels Pre-Production DP875PBZ "Bonanza" Motherboard, an Engineering Sample P4-3ghz with 800mhz FSB and Hyperthreading, two 256MB sticks of Kingmax DDR400 SDRAM, two Seagate Barracuda V 120GB Serial ATA Hard Disks with connectors and cables, an IO shield, documentation and the stock intel heatsink which I found to cope admirably, being quiet and effective.

The motherboard, note size of northbridge sink.
